Hives is often associated with allergic reactions. This is because most people who are having an allergic reaction will usually exhibit itchiness all over their body, and welts will begin to form. However, you must be aware that this can cause dizziness, which is why it is recommended to take these before you sleep. This is also beneficial because hives tend to itch more at night.
· If you know what triggers your hives such as too much heat or too much cold, it is best that you avoid being exposed to these temperatures. If you know that stress triggers your hives, then as much as possible do not subject yourself to stressful situations. Allergy and hives are usually associated. Therefore, stay away from allergens.
· If your hives is the result of some infection, the infection must be treated first in order to resolve your hives. If the infection is left untreated, then hive relief will not be obtained.
· Avoid wearing constrictive clothing because hives tend to form when the skin is under pressure. Therefore, avoid wearing ill-fating clothes. As much as possible, you should wear clothes that are comfortable.
· Hives can result to skin dryness. Skin dryness can make the itching worse. Therefore, keep your skin moisturized by using a moisturizer on a regular basis.
